Title: $99 or $199???
Post by: Fred* on February 16, 2011, 05:24:29 AM
Hello

The home page of IDX says that IDX Renditioner PC 1.2 and Mac 1.2 cost $99.  So I click on "Purchase" and am directed to a page where it's shown as costing $199.  What's going on?????

Which are you trying to purchase?  PC or MAC?

This is the link for V2 forPC.  http://www.imsidesign.com/Products/Renditioner/RenditionerPro/tabid/1750/Default.aspx

I'm interested in the Mac version.

The link you gave is to Renditioner Pro and it costs $199.

How do I get IDX Renditioner 1.2 Mac for $99?

What does Pro have that 1.2 doesn't other than libraries?

Thanks

Fred*, you are correct that the prices seem to be different on both pages. I have noticed that the pages are in the process off being rewritten, and guess they contain errors. Don't know what the prices are however.

I believe that IMSI has 3 versions of the render application. Pro v2, IDXRenditioner v1.2, and IDX Free v1.1

Is there going to be V2 for Mac?

It's been 6 months since I complained about the price of IDX Renditioner being wrong on the home page (Mac version: says $99 on the home page, but when you click on the link it says $199).
With this much time passed, I can only assume that it was done intentionally to trick people into buying the product by making them think at first that it costs half of what it really costs.

Aren't you just a little embarrassed to be doing this?  You have a great product - why aren't you honest about the pricing?

Hi Fred,

I hate to break it to you but, this forum is used by and run by users of the program.  If you want to have a pop at the company you will need to go to customer services or possibly the on-line support team.  Sorry to burst that bubble but nothing can be done from here and the topic has been raised before.
