Hi Wes, the 'slot' at the front is an aerodynamic device to add some front end downforceand aid steering by reducing the tendency of rear and mid engined cars to 'go light' when accelerating.
I have been planning a car like this for a long time and when I get enough moolah I will attempt to build it, guaranteeing it will take a while then. I am hoping the Jaguar turbine will be around by this time and would like to adapt it to pruduce electric power. My system does have some dynamic oddities though which will make it difficult to develope like no physical brake units.
Tyres are looking to go one of two ways, either a combo of foam and gas elements or the airless type promoted for use in light military vehicles. Imagine the sidewalls of the tyre being made up of many 'springs' and you will get the idea.
Thanks for the feedback mate, hope it gets finished this time.
