Dear all,

Something that happens very frenquently to me, is that I am using a dark blue as material on Sketchup, and once rendered with IDX, the blue appears very bright and glowy.  However, the material setting is mate and not glowy (refer to the settings attached).

I use Sketchup 7 with IDX Renditionner v1.

You can refer to the attached images to see my problems (the huge difference between the blue on Sketchup and the blue on IDX).

Did this problem occured to other users?  How should I solve this issue?

Thank you in advance,

Caroline

I am guessing you have version 1.1 but no clue on pc or mac.  Not using 1,1 or 1.2 (pc only) but I would suggest leaving the reflectance slider in the middle of its run.

I should have mentionned that I am using the version 1.1 of IDX.

I also have a MAC.  this is strange, this glitch only happens with blue color.

Have you tried my suggestion and if you did so, what is the result?

Sorry, trial and error are the usual methodology here.
