LED light strips and less hectic nagivation please!

I am reiterating comments that I've read in other's wishlists - I thought it would add weight to the requests.

I've tried using fluorescent tubes and stretched them to create an LED lighting effect - but it's far from perfect.  So, to find a ready made LED strip in the lighting components would be wonderful.  In fact, whilst I'm wishing, I would love to see a greater choice of lights, and better still would be the ability to easily create my own (I'm suspecting this is already possible, maybe someone could let me know if they have done this?).

I struggle so much using the renditioner nagivation tools that I simply don't bother, I just head back into sketchup, reorganise my view, save it and head back to renditioner - this is horribly time consuming, I'd love to be able to gently pan around my model without wizzing off into space.

Thanks for listening!

I know what you mean, it is possible to adjust the mouse sensituvity in windows but I cannot remember where in the control panel it is, I'll have a look and add it later.  Lights, to be honest I do not use those added with renditioner preferring to make my own.  Essentially when you create a light source, whatever style or shape, you need to look in the sketchup model properties and deselect 'cast shadows' for the light source ONLY.  It must be a component also.  Wesleys plugin will work to move the axis for light direction whatever light model you use so that is not an issue.

You are wlcome Kathryn.

Ah ha! That's brilliant - I've just spent a few minutes trying out creating my own lights - wow, that's so easy!  I am so pleased!

Thank you also for the light components that you sent - they will come in really handy.

I can't thank you enough!

I have been experimenting with light sources inserted into an existing component (as a separate component). This is a 60w bulb light source.

Cool, have you thought of the transparent material settings for the lampshade?
