Water
« on: September 06, 2013, 05:31:20 PM »
I placed the water texture on the lake floor, and placed a transparent surface approx. 3 ft or 1m above. Then made it
a transparency in Renditioner Pro3, with a wave #2 Bump. Just an experiment in giving depth to water with a reflection.

Water texture moved to within 4" of window reflective #1 with wave bumps. Maybe it doesn't work, just an experiment.

Hi Chasmills ,

I tried to play with 3d surface water.
Only transparent color applied in SU and finished water, with Renditioner.
I attach the file, it can serve.

greetings

Roberto

I like the wave Bump texture. It would serve well as a fountain or swimming pool. I tried this one with a dirt texture on the bottom and then a plane of water and then a transparent plane on top. It seems to be the best rendering of water I have done.
