There is a free tool here http://sketchkey.com/
I have not yet evaluated it, the login information has not yet arrived at my inbox but it is listed on sketchucation by another sketchup user so there is something other than a vague recomendation. I will update this when I have checked it out but what I have seen so far is promising.
Another change, You get a few parametric parts which you can open in sketchup, you have the option to buy two complete libraries, initial set is $80 and the kitchen set is $40. The idea is that you have a set of parametric components which you can use and adapt to create your own furniture. Possibly worth a look if it floats your boat or you need a lot of cabinetry in your models.
Right, having had a look at the items in the free download, not worth the time or disc space to store them. This might be different if you have the libraries, they look pretty impresive on their website. As mentioned, if these save you time and effort they might just be worth the expense, if you do not make use of them on a daily basis they are probably mtttaw.
