Rain slicked paving in a night scene.
« on: July 11, 2014, 01:38:14 AM »
There is one exterior light unit in this scene but a faux 'stack' effect of materials.  Two layers separated by .5 of an inch.  The bottom layer has a concrete paving texture set to mat and bump of plus one, the second layer .5 of an inch higher has a light colour painted and a glass finish.  A reasonable facsimile of a rainy pavement.

Add moonlight sky and sky reflectance set to medium otherwise as above.  Reflection blur does not seem to do anything at all.

This result seems to be better when closed up to the subject.  With interior lights and moved out, not so good.

I stacked the units and altered the layout to a more conventional 'box' style.  Upper level access included plus changed the light settings as shown in the second picture.
