Will there be a Renditioner Pro version in the works for Sketchup 2015 now that a 64bit version of Sketchup has finally been released? Thanks,

It would make sense but honestly, it could take some time as frankly the sketchup development team play their cards very close.  Nobody I know had any idea sketchup was going 64 bit so everyone is behind the curve, as usual.

More than time the sketchup developers understood the teamwork thing and got ON the bus.  Sorry I cannot give you any firm information.

Thank you for your response. Before Trimble, sketchup was quite adamant that 64bit was not on the horizon so I understand everyone surprise. Renditioner working within a 64bit environment would be a beautiful thing (I think)!

I felt it was inevitable myself, not that the sketchup team would want to but that the Trimble team would put their feet down with a firm hand.  It makes all kinds of sense especially when you consider the BIM integration Trimble want.

At the moment the 64 bit has ups and downs with the downs being a serious impact on windows explorer which makes importing items or textures a chore that could be done without and a few other issues.  Having said that the impact of 64 bit will not be seen for a while yet when integration is improved and the whole par 5 gets reduced to a par 3 with a long iron.

Praise be and pass the ammunition.
