If you open Sketchup and go to the menu bar  >Help,  >IDXRenditioner Help,  it will open the IDXRenditioner user manual in PDF format, (Assuming you have Adobe Reader installed) you can then save a copy.

Hope this helps

Also, on the PC version if you look in the START menu, look for IMSI Design IDX Renditioner and in there it will have the user manual.  The user manual can be found by looking in:
c:/ProgramFiles/Google/GoogleSketchUp/Plugins/IDXRenditioner

or on the Mac

Mac HD / Library / Application Support / Google SketchUp / SketchUp / Plugins / IDX Renditioner

I tried looking in these two places. Under 'Help,' the only option I get is 'About IDX Renditioner,' which just tells me the version(1.1.02) and has links to the site. I also tried William's method and couldn't find it there either. What is it labeled? Nothing says "manual" or something that would be close to it.

Thanks guys.

On the IDX Renditioner toolbar, try clicking on the question mark (?).

That launches a .pdf of the user guide.

On the Mac you won't find the user guide under the SketchUp Help menu, only through the ? HELP button on the IDX toolbar.  It can also be found on the Mac under:
Mac HD / Library / Application Support / Google SketchUp 7 / SketchUp / Plugins / IDX Renditioner / IDXRenditionerUserGuide.pdf

And... I've attached it to this post for download.

Yup, there it is...Thanks William. I grew up on PCs but switched to Mac for work this past year. There are still many little differences to get used to.

Obviously I need to use both, and have learned to love the best aspects of both without getting bothered too much by the deficiencies of the other.  I must say though that I prefer using Renditioner on the Mac (maybe because I have an 8-core with lots of memory  ;D) but I prefer using SketchUp on a PC still...

Same here, Sketchup on the mac is not so clever as the windows version, I especially dislike the materials window... But rendering on the mac works better, especially large models.

Hello

I just purchased IDX Renditioner for Mac, for SU 8.  How do I get the manual?  (Why isn't there a link to it on the Web site?)

Thanks

Navigate to your renditioner installation and check the help section.  You will find three pdf files and two sketchup models.

Hello Mike

Thanks for the reply, but I don't understand what you wrote.  Navigate to what installation?  Do I get to the manuals from SU?

Oops, found it.  I clicked on the ? in the green ball at the end of the command icons.  There it was!
