I am having problem with the results of the material after render, all material accept the solid colors are in black I cannot understand the reason why it does look that it is a compatibility issues, as I am using the macbook pro I7 processor when I transferred the same SU ver 7 to another mac machine with intel coredu processor and downloaded the IDX red, it worked fine and also when i tried to register the IDX on my machine i am getting an error reading, I need help thanks

If you are getting an error when entering the license then it sounds like it could be an installation problem or access problem.

One of the issues can be permissions on the Mac.  Not only do you need to be sure you are signed in as an Administrator, but you need to ensure that Read/Write permissions on the folders have not changed to Read Only...   (This happens more often in 10.6.x than before.)

If being an Administrator and ensuring Read/Write access to the folders doesn't work, then try completely uninstalling and re-installing the application.  There is a utility for uninstalling at:

    user>library>logs>UninstallRenditioner

Getting the product properly activated, and having Read/Write access seem to be the most important steps.
